Corsair announced their new XENEON Gaming Monitor, featuring an 32 inch 165hz IPS panel.
Featuring a quantum dot layer, the monitor is certified for AMD FreeSync™ Premium and NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ compatibility variable refresh rate.

Additionally, Corsair claims a 100% coverage of both the Adobe RGB and sRGB colorspace , and 98% DCI-P3, making a case for usage in creative environments.

Corsair Media Kit

An Integrated hub offers 2x HDMI 2.0 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4, as well as 2x USB 3.1 Type-C and 2x USB 3.1 Type-A. The stand is capable of height, tilt and swivel adjustment, and is mounted to the monitor with a standard 100x100mm VESA mount.
For easier control of monitor settings, you can easily swap between profiles with iCue or Elgato Stream Deck software.

The question remains if these features justify the steep price of $800, with the recent razer monitor fresh in everyone’s minds.

With multiple reviews being published alongside the launch of this monitor from the likes of HardwareUnboxed/Techspot and TFTCentral, this question can be answered to some extent.

While the monitor does achieve its advertised performance, it performs more like a middle of the pack monitor. And with strong competition both far below its pricepoint or offering much more premium features at the same one, there remains little justification to buy this one.
