Corsair has introduced a new addition to their MP600 lineup of PCIe Gen 4 SSDs. The company unveiled the MP600 PRO XT and MP600 PRO XT Hydro X Edition. The MP600 PRO XT combines the Phison E18 controller that initially debuted in Sabrent’s Rocket 4 plus along with Micron’s 176-Layer TLC NAND. The result is an incredibly fast drive with read speeds up to 7100MB/s and write speeds up to 6800MB/s when paired with a PCIe 4 capable system. Capacities of 1TB, 2TB and 4TB are available for the PRO XT along with 2TB and 4TB for the PRO XT Hydro X Edition.
Similar to previous MP600 drives, the MP600 Pro XT comes with a heatsink to guarantee that sustained load will be no issue. For those with a custom watercooling loop Corsair has also unveiled the MP600 Pro XT Hydro X Edition which comes with a preinstalled waterblock for the drive similar to the previous MP600 Pro Hydro X Edition.
The Corsair MP600 PRO XT and PRO XT Hydro X Edition are available now on Corsair’s website starting at $199.99 and $424.99 respectively.
